.:. Song with fries .:.

After a very long hiatus, finally got the chance to go K with GOF again, or as usual the chinese branch of GOF. This time it was at NTU Alumni, Teo Heng! Love Teo Heng cos its so cheap, and you are allowed to bring food in. Best. As mentioned by Zhiyong, the last time we K-ed was many many months ago, during a random outing where we just decided to go to this Karaoke at Braddel Heights CC.

Had a 3 hour session this time, relatively short as compared to what we would normally do, but better than nothing, still awesome as usual. Even though I can't really sing, I still like to go K. Reason being, it's fun :). What I especially like bout K sessions is to hear friends singing.

Of course the songs sang by professional singers are nice already. But somehow when I listen to my friends sing well, it makes the songs so much better. Like the song has an added perk to it. Which is why I just like to go there, sit and enjoy watching/listening to people sing. Very happy-fying :).

Also when there's a song that everybody knows, and everybody sings together regardless of whether there is the mike or not is also a very good feeling.

To sum it up, K is just about a group of people, pouring different feelings into this little room through the help of music. Sort of like a sharing chit-chat session, but using a different medium :).

And since we're on this topic, here's 2 songs for your enjoyment. The first was a song I heard randomly on the radio, which I found to be super nice. The second is a song from Alien's old album. It's a song that when I initially heard it didn't really liked it, but slowly I start to get like it alot now. Enjoy~

Then after that we decided to go EwF. Originally as planned nobody was free for dinner, but suddenly after K, with the added bait of going to EwF at Holland V, everybody had time haha! SO we headed down there.

My first time there. And I would say after all that I've heard about it, I'm kinda disappointed with what I got. I got the Grilled Lamb Burger. I thought that the lamb patty was too dry, and coupled with the little cream cheese, it results in the whole burger having a very dry texture to it. The salad they provided was also very oily/salty. Which to me kind of defeats the purpose of having a salad there. Lastly, the fries. I ordered Shoestring, garlic n herbs. To me, the seasoning was abit too salty, but that's personal preference. Though I also got to try the onion and sour cream, which was quite nice. Tasted like potato chips, just that its fries.

Price wise it's quite reasonable for that kind of food. Sushan and Zhiyong were both quite happy with their orders, Cheeseburger and Pork Chop respectively. So maybe it's just my order didn't suit me ba.

So all in all, I would say that led to the disappointment in that place. I wouldn't say I would never step in there again. I still would, but most probably wun order the same thing, unless I forget bout it HAHA!

Note to self: Need to start routine pt regime again. Recently been losing momentum. Who knows where my motivation to go exercise went to. Haven't been running for awhile, and my pt is horrendously little. Really need to start again, before I lose what's left of my figure. Haiz. Sianz. Where's the old me???!!!
