.:. Saboten .:.
Nothing new this week. As per usual. Giving tuition as my only source of income. Running longD at least once a week, gym the other days. Still in the midst of enjoying Halo Reach. Completed Heroic, now onto Legendary. Providing me with lots and lots of entertainment. But I'm trying to ration, dun wan to chiong finish and then have nothing to do. Must enjoy every single sec of it.
So with so much boring stuff, let's talk bout food!
The perks of me having a smartphone now is that I can take photos of all the good food that I'm enjoying and share/reccomend to you guys :). No need to lug around the blky dslr, jus use my phone can liao. Hence the photos here are taken using my phone. Still trying to learn to play with the settings, so pardon me if the photos dun turn out very nice.
Friday went to the Airport for dinner. Cos my aunt works there got 15% discount. Awesome much sia. Ate at Saboten, this japanese restaurant in Terminal 1. It's a shop that sells only fried food. So it's fried ebi, pork cutlet, loin, croquet etc etc. I guess they're going on the track that if you're good at something, why bother doing others.

I tell you it's possibly the best fried jap food I've ever tried till date. I love the crispy yet light batter that they use. I hate it when you order fried food and the batter is thicker than the ingredient. And having to wait for it means that your food is fried upon order, not left cold. And the pork they use comes with huge chunks of fat, which I chose not to eat but agree that it has to be in there. Without it, the pork would be very dry and hard. Eww.

All their set meals also comes with free flow cabbage, miso soup and rice. So you can definitely eat your worth, if your tummy can stomach it. But the fried stuff that I ordered was more than enough to fill me up that I didn't have to take another bowl of rice, which really means something.
Prices of their set meals range from 20-25ish. I think its pretty worth it, considering the quality of the food and the free flow miso/cabbage. Super satisfying :).

Saw this at one of the toast-selling places in Airport (forgot the name). So nostalgic sia!
Other food I had this week.

Chong pang beehoon. Which is supposed to be very famous. Had it for supper. Sinful much hehe. Beehoon was not bad. Didn't get to try their "mee" thou cos everybody ordered beehoon.
I also had steamboat dinner on sunday. No idea why, jus eat lo haha. Only that I dived right into dinner, I forgot to take photo HAHA! Anyway even if I were to take photo you also can't eat, cos its homemade :). Best~
Foodie post! Let's hope that everyweek I can reccomend some food to you guys. Proof of how much I love to eat. Food ftw!!!
