.:. Unemployed .:.

So now its the week after ORD, meaning it's the start of me being unemployed! No more monthly income into my bank account, gonna have to be surviving on my own now. And that means I gotta find a job!

But it's not that easy. Because I'm currently volunteering almost weekly, it means that if I were to apply for a regular job, I would have to stop volunteering. Then again I can't don't have a job otherwise I'll be eating air for the next few months right, and what about uni. So what to do when torn between the 2...

Why so into volunteering some would ask. Well, I think it's because of my background as a SLC in my sec school. So I'm sorta into the giving back to society, influencing the next generation kind of thing you know. I just enjoy doing stuff like that :).

However that's only passion. And passion dosen't feed my tummy, nor does it pay my expenses for going out with friends and the long list of things that I want to get my hands on. So I've still gotta be practical and try to work my way around it.

Solution: Home tuition!!!

Yupz. This will allow me to earn income at the same time, as well as have the flexibility of time to volunteer :). And moreover, I get to practice teaching students, all the more better for my future career. Kill 3 birds with 1 stone yoz.

Only 1 problem. Nobody wants to hire me!!! Thus far hasn't been any replies. Meaning I can only wait longer lor. Nothing else I can do. Maybe I should've starting looking for job sooner, then wun have this problem now. Haiz procrastination at fault, not mine ;p.

On Friday there was also some kinda random GOF sleepover. Pop by over to Ryan's house really late. By the time everybody reached and started it was past 12am already. Played some kinda zombie card game, which really tested your mind-functions considering it was that late at night, Random facts and Truth or Dare. Truth or Dare this time wasn't as epic, probably cos there's lack of peeps. This time was more funny. Lots of laughing cos of embarassing stuff being done. Woohoo.

The only thing was that there was more a sense of tiredness hanging in the air, cos people came from work and such. So after hours of working/studying you dun expect them to be still very awake right. Can't blame them.

Ended with waffles for breakfast. Ryan has a waffle making machine at home. His house has everything! We're speculating he has a time-machine kept in some storeroom somewhere. Maybe next time we can go and find it for him haha!
