.:. Achievement unlocked .:.

It took a very long wait for this, but now its all worth it.

Finally, I've done it! I managed to complete my want list of gundam models from the gundam Seed series XD. Seed was the series that really got me into gundam. Granted back when I was a primary school kid I remember Wing was the first ever series aired in Singapore (at a timeslot that was very very early in the morn). But they didn't complete the series then, which was kinda sad. Then came secondary school, when Seed was aired. That was when it all started.

It was Seed that got me really started, and began collecting the gundam models and all. A wonderful beginning I would say :). Started with one, then two...and slowly by slowly it snowballs until now, current count 36 hehe. But one thing bad bout being a kid then, I couldn't get my own models, so it was dependent on like my bdays and results. And given that Seed was an average length gundam anime, 50 episodes, it wouldn't stay popular for very long. And that also means that the models won't be around for that long. So by the time the Seed craze died to give way to the Destiny series, the models too became more rare, leaving me with just that 1 gundam out of my want list.

I had pretty much given up finding for it after so long, when the stores just carry on the trend of the latest models. But that was until I found Hobby Point at Heartland mall Kovan. I was like O.O. It was like a miracle! Cos the shop is so hidden, tucked away in an obsucre corner...who knows what made me walked there. The shop is just pure awesome. As the name suggests, its a shop that serves people like me, models from all kinds of show. And the best, the shop still carries models from the older series!!! And viola that's where I got my latest gundam, the one that completed my want list, the Forbidden Gundam.

Now that I'm done with Seed, I'm thinking which series to explore next. And I wonder whether there is anymore Hobby Points lieing arund hidden in Singapore. Oh oh and i saw the models from the Wing series as well! Retro to the max!!! Just speechless. Seeing all the beautiful models there, it really makes me want to start my goal of getting a model each month. Each month costs around $30. Given my current expenditure, I just have to be alittle bit more thrifty and and it won't be a problem, which really isn't that much of a problem actually. I won't even need to reduce my current saving amount each month, so its a win-win situation!
