Mam, please cough...
Ever had the feeling that when you were looking forward to something real hard, and you really want/needed it, but when the time comes, it dosen't present itself. The sense of disappointment, rejection, sadness is just downright mind-wrecking. Maybe that's why I always dun believe in things that are going happen, but things that happened.
Sergants are like fillings for sandwiches, squeezed inbetween 2 pieces of bread. Kaya, Peanut butter, Nutella, jam or just simple plain butter. Sergants are people who face the most pressure, from the top and bottom. On one hand we have to obligation and responsibility to be close to our men, to know them not only as a rank but rather a person, and to also be their friend in camp. Yet on the hand, sergants have to listen their commanders in turn, to carry out orders, to do what must be done (most of the time "Sai Kang") and to punish who needs to be punished. Its definitely not going to be easy juggling between these 2 aspects, especially since I am a very "soft" person. So how I dunnoe, but I've gotta learn. One thing's for sure, the filling's what make the sandwich nice :)
