.:. It's been a long time .:.

Yay got to accomplish another of my PET PROJECT today, that is to sit down at a coffee place, and read a book, like what ang mohs always do.

So I met up with sharon at 12, and then went down to macs at city hall for lunch first. Got to try the chilli shaker fries for the 2nd time today, tastes not bad. But i felt the chilli taste wasn't sufficient enough for me, so ppl who dun really take spicy shd enjoy it. Up till now, I still find it weird that ppl in long sleeve n pants actually go down to macs for their lunch, i always tot they were more suited for high class western cuisine.

Went down to NLB to borrow books to read. Was searching for Halo books, but for some reason, it either does not hv or is loaned out...wwwhhhyyy of all places central library must lik tat! Bo pian lo, have to slowly scan the science fiction section to see which book interests me. In the end got Star Wars Republic Commando: Hard Contact and Battlestar Galactica (a dam long ago show, which i use to watch), but i was more interested in the former. Oh one funny thing happened. When i was trying to borrow book ah, somehow the machine say cant. So i went to the counter to check...

Me: I tried to self borrow jus nw, but the machine said the item cant be borrowed.
Librarian: Oh can i have yr IC pls, let me help you check.
*hands over IC*
Waits...waits....
Librarian: Ah its nothing.
Me: Eh?
Librarian: Its been a long time since u last borrowed a book rite? Thats why u got tis msg, we jus wanted to update yr particulrs.
Me (thinking in my heart): Its not a very long time, its never before...HAHA!!!

So we proceed to J.Co, grabbed seats in one corner jus beside the counter, lucky there was a partition to seperate us from the cashier. I got Cappucino chip, which tastes not bad, and complimentary donut.

Its really nice to just sit down there n read. No cares about people walking past you, no need worry the store personal come n chase u away, and can slowly sip my coffee at my own leisurely pace. Woo shiok ah (and for your info i was no reader to begin with, jus wanted to experience the atmosphere). 2hours passed dam fast, shows how fast the world just revolves without u sia. So ya its good, if any of u interested in such sessions, next time jio me along.

And also, with me n sharon, u would expect a jubeat session la. As expected, after almost one month of hiatus, I have sorely deproved. Sianz...but oh well, still it was fun. Might be able to squeeze in a couple of sessions more b4 i enter NS. But sharon, she is pro de lor. I see her play jaw drop ah...ppl everday work place there hv access to it...she now is invisible hands sia...omg

So yupz, tats how the day went la. A short but joyous reading session, simply to enjoy the simplicity of life :)
