.:. Before we join Ryan... .:.
Had our "remaining of the guys farewell" outing last sat. I know the turnout wasn't large, but it was the thought that counts .Thanks to sushan for planning it for us despite your busy schedule :), and appreciate it u try to look pretty by wearing dress (although I know cos you are attending yr best friend's bday after haha!).
So we met up at dhoby ghaut mrt at 11am to lan. We were initially tinking of going for a trekking trup, cos we seriously cant tink of anything else to do, but in the end cos there was a significant number of people, we were able to play VS match :) so we went down to paradise again. But somehow, the server there was whacky. First problem, we had to spend lik 30mins waiting for the l4d2 to update itself, but all's not gone for who needs the game when u hv the company. Second problem, the server was laggy, resulting in many disconnections. Maybe it was cos we were playing too early ba haha. The teams were more evenly distributed this time, with both sides having opportunities to win. So it was a good 2hr game, of much screaming, shouting, cheering and laughter :) the best.
After that sharon had work so she left us, leaving sushan as the onli girl (mich was down with flu). As planned, we proceeded down to raffles place mrt to begin our hunt for Zhou's Kitchen. What could go wrong, there's 4 guys there, we dun get lost, we jus take the longer route XD but for the record, we really din get lost. Now about the food. The food was gooooooooddddd. High tea buffet for $20 was abit pricey, but I must say it was worth it. The food quality was good, up to standard in my opinion. Very nice. And of course since it was buffet, we jus chionged, or tried. In the end onli me n ryan were left eating haha! Wat's not to like, good food, quantity-less and nice atmosphere. Oh and there was a wedding solemnization session held there too :) I wun mind going there again sometime, when I have saved up more haha.
After that we jus took photos outside Far East Square to commemorate that we still hv hair. Then sushan left for her friend's bday, while us guys went on to play one more session of lan. We jus wanted to try the new campaign la, The Passing. But it wasn't up to expectation. I expected more out of it, but it was all too simple and short. Onli thing really fun was the last part, where AI controlled l4d2 characters were there to protect you as you collect fuel cans to fill in a generator. I was basically freely running around, almost 100% safe cos the AI were sooooooooo efficient.
Thats basically the farewell for us remaining us before we enlist. Nothing spectacular planned, just good friends, good company, good conversations which results in a VERY GOOD TIME :)
