.:. MOE Teaching Attachment Programme .:.
It feels weird to be sitting in a tutorial room after so long...
Yup the 2 days of teaching training is over. Location was at NUS School of Computing. That means that I've been waking up at 6, and then squeezing with ppl on the mrt. The bus (95) into NUS is always so packed...but at least the company of sharon and jiayen helps (even though jiayen's is normally made up of suans).
The training was fun. Had a very friendly trainer, Miss peck. It appears that she has extensive experience in teaching, being a principle and then MOE staff. She's the kind who is more of a hands-on person i'm guessing, cos there was lots of group discussions and such. She din refer to the MOE handbook much, for she said it was out-dated and i agree, haha. There was a lot of sharing of her working experience with us, which i believe really helps alot. And i get the idea that she is not just promoting teaching as a job, but also teaching us things on life in general, which i think is very helpful.
Food wise, it was great haha. Having 3 meals provided there makes it seems as if they are trying to buy us over huh...haha. But the food was really good. And we had Mr Neo's eclairs for teabreak too...wootz!
So overall the 2 day training was fun :) Waiting now to experience the real thing.
Fun fact:
What do you think is important is life? What makes up the center of a person's character? Answer these ques in your mind, write it down if you want.
Here's an exercise to help you. Number the alphabets 1 to 26. Using the words you have thought of, add up all the numbers. Surprisingly, only the word ATTITUDE gives 100% in life :)
