Happy New Year to all!!!
A couple of years ago, on tis vry day something very important happened! No its the birth of me la, i where hv so "zi lian"...although i wun mind if u wan to think tat way :). Actually its the day that raffles found or stepped on Singapore, something lik tat.

Chinese New Year celebrations at NY was...different. Spent the morning having 1/2 lesson, then w8 1.5hr for cele. 1st was Jia Yen's performance, was expecting lion dance but turned out to be drum performance. Not bad for a change. Then was rangoli competition. Very weird to have it as a whole class. 28 supposed to work on a piece of art, but turned out the girls end up doing it all as it became too crowded. The guys leh, giv moral support lor. Then after tat 0804 new year outing. Supposed to be steamboat, but somehow or rather it became an outing to my house. Welcome to my hunble home :)
The guys played xbox, while the girls err...cam whored. Sry la my house isn't girl 0riented, wat u expect when there is 3 boys...So the girls jus cam whored lor. Then after we went to play basketball, where i found out tat girls playing basketball = very "chor lor". Wendy's became specless and Sushan got elbowed by her "husband", household violence lolz.
Now to talk bout new year. Ppl coming n going, visitng and ang baos...so common. But every year i m amazed at 1 thing. Its ns to sit in a corner and observe how ppl who seldom c each other start to chat. The dad's will gather together to talk bout work.
Dad 1: Hey how's work?
Dad 2: Sama sama lor
Dad 1: Still working at blah blah?
Dad 2: Ya lor. U leh?
Dad 1: Sama Sama.
Then a sudden change in topic...
Dad 1: The recent recession dam bad sia.
Dad 2: ya lor
Dad 1: All bcos of banks lor
Dad 2: Ya, cos the higher ups n banks long noe the prob but no 1 do anything so lik tat lor.
Dad 1: Its lik tat 1 ma. U got c how budget going help recession.
Dad 2: Ya, pump to manufacturing lor, then boost economy a bit.
Dad 1: Ya, tats the most govt can do, cos other sector not much control, so they bo pian pump money there to start the economy.
Ya tats wat the dad's talk.
Mum 1: Eh long time no c.
Mum 2: ya. How's yr son ah?
And it goes on and on bout the child, u noe la.
Then the teens leh...
Teen 1: How's sch? Poly JC?
Teen 2: Poly. u leh?
Teen 1: JC. wa dam hard ah, so bzy.
And they start comparing, onli to be stopped occasionally by the ang bao receving.

Tis fri 0804 coming my hse again, bai nian. I tink bout half will turn up? But i wonder wat the girls will do??? Any1 up for basketball again??? Pls bring yr arm guards and helmets hor. Oh ya n remmember help me clear my new year tidbits hor, lots left, lik nvr touch at all.
Now another song from the same band. Wat i like bout tis song is the harmony between violin n rock. somehow they both mix very well. And also the concept behind tis song is tat in everyone of us there us a melody, to each his own. So philosophical :) Enjoy!

Yay finished my 3rd op...w8ing for the 4th to come. Some of u might think after so many op i shd be improving, but after my presentation ah ma immediately pointed out my "gayness" left gesture again...so ya shows i dun learn...
Was talking self introducing ourselves in Bio to Mr kwek(dun noe how spell but u all get the idea can liao). He is a very friendly teacher, nt tat Mr neo wasn't. Are all bio teachers so nice? Back to self-intro. Came to my turn and i said "music and Gundam modelling." Then mr kwek was like huh??? wat??? well cant blame him, its not a very well proliferated sport in Singapore, but at least i expected him to know the word Gundam, guess we diff era ba, 10 years older. So i explained, but never explained my hobby to any1 b4...thks for terence for his help 2. To those who dun noe what gundam is, mr kwek "Oh is it the robot with the V on the head" lolz.
Lesson: Pronunciation of the word "Gundam".
There are 2 pronunciation, which i realised arised due to dubbing for english viewers.
Eng: Gundam. Gun as in literally the bang bang and dam as in the rock wall.
Jap: Gundam. Same gun as in bang bang and dum.
Ya so depends which u prefer. :)

Ok i noe tis post is overdue but still i wan blog it. To those who are not interested to know more about me, pls do not read on further. But then again, if yr not interested to know more...y come my blog??? :)
Din spend the holiday academically productive, except when completing the holiday homework. Other than tat, i prepared n presented my second OP to the pre-j1s. Thks to boonbin, Ryan and whoever was present at the backrow and cheered for me. Initially when the China team came up n presented, wa the cheer they got from their teammates was like...er...roaring. Then i looked at my VP...and it was like 2 of us onli...so ya i was dam scared...imagine if i go up n there was silent(i can hear the crikets...). Lucky for my lovely 0804 buddies, they cheered for me!!!! Although it shocked me, it was sudden, but i appreciate it lots :) Thks guys!!!
Other than sch work, i was also bzy catching up on my hobbies, mainly GUNDAM MODELLING and Youtube watching. Lets talk bout the first hobby. Hmm...thinking back, i started on this hobby in pri sch. I din start with GUNDAM models, but instead and an alternate anime called zoids. Basically its also a mecha series. Since pri sch, my bday gifts and reward for good grades hv been models. I once estimated that for those zoids models i have it all costs a total bout $1000...ya. Which is why i must say i have really great parents :) luv them lots. They've been really supportive of my modelling hobby all this while. They are willing to get me those models...not free of charge of course i must work for em. Which is y i must always strive for better grades to get those models. My parents, even though my dad do complain that my collection is increasingly taking up space at home and he does not understand me hobby, they are still supportive of me. There was once i showed em an article on GUNDAM MODELLING as a hobby in Singapore, then my mum suddenly asked me, " Hey there's a course on model painting, u wana go?" Then i was like...er...the cost is $160++...so greatful that they offered but i declined, cos its A-level year.But i will go for the course after A-levels. Enuff babbling, back to reality.
The last weekend b4 sch reopened, I, as Ryan would say, Leveled up on my modeling hobby. Sat i went to IKEA to get a proper cupboard for my models as reward for the grade jump in Promos :). Looked around, and found a pure white cupboard that is $250. Then i went home n found that i was an enginerriing idiot. Ya dalvin n toolboxes dun mix together. I can fix together a 1/144 GUNDAM model in 2hrs, but cant understand the manual for fixing the cupboard on first sight. So in the end it was up to my dad who helped me, ok he did most of the work. I mainly stood n eye-powered, n pass him the tools n ladder. 2 hrs later, the beautiful cupboard is finally up!!! Then i spent the 2 n 1/2 hrs in the room carefully cleaning my gundams b4 arranging them into the cupboard. Wa i was so proud when i finished!!! :) :)

Ok, sry for the poor graphics. I took the pics with my phone...so ya. All 22 of my GUNDAMS are nicely displayed. Yay so happy!!!I will post nicely taken photos of my GUNDAMS some other time.
Now for my 2nd hobby, Youtube watching. I watched jap anime and series like Kamen rider( Masked Rider) on Youtube. Ya young at heart eh...hehe. K so i spent hours infront of the com watching the latest series Kamen Rider Kiva. It was definitely enjoyable. But it gave me a surprise. The insert songs in the show totally rocked me. It was vry ns. I luv jap rock. Then i went to research, n found that the band was Tetra Fang. But sadly, it is a band specially made for the series, thus they sing limited number of songs...wat a waste, the songs they sing are so ns. The lead singer of Tetra Fang, Seto Koji, is also the main actor in the sries. Ironically, he acts as Wataru, a shy introverted guy who luvs violin. Now to let u all have a taste of the J-rock i luv, here's a Tetra Fang PV. Also read the lyrics...Jap songs the lyrics are vry ns. I think in our class less than 5 ppl listens to my genre of songs(Wen Zhen, BB, Ryan, Terence and i dun noe who...) but still...here it is.
Hope you enjoyed it. Currently learning the lyrics...but taking a long time.
Now to talk bout 1st day of sch. Morning was boring, had talks but was expected. Then was recess. It was a great start to the year. The guys all chatted happily. We discussed bout something...n all of us were laughing dam loudly(Lucky the girls weren't there, no it wasn't something dirty. It was something...erm meaningful). Made me luv the class more. Tml open hse..so no lessons again :)

At the beginning of 2008, i had my inhibitions about JC. After all the talk from my sec friends that poly was better, JC din seem so fun. But still i went for it. And it turned out GREAT, thks to 0804.
I dare to say that without u guys(i mean every1 nt onli males...), i would not have made it through JC1. U all have been a great class throughout the entire year. I've nvr ever woken up and been so happy to go to sch(take note: i said go to sch not lectures n tutorial :).). Its true that i look forward to seeing 0804 everyday. Lectures would be alot more boring without the small chit-chats we have, tutorials would not be as fun(for some subjects onli), and i would never be so bonded to a class.
PW, was a KILLER!!!(BAKEMONO!!!). But with 0804, the process was alot more enjoyable. There's a reason why i always try to get diff PW group gather together and do PW. Cos its more fun that way. When we are together, we laugh at nonsensical things, make fun of ppl and that made PW alot better. I luv it especially during OP rehersals, it was the most fun. We laughed, we gave comments, we laughed somemore and we had FUN! Thks to ZuYao for lending us yr house :)
Thanks to all those who made me who I am today. All of you have changed me in one way or another since i was in sec sch. Thanks to those who made me more open, i talk more i laugh more :). Thanks to those who helped me in my studies. Thanks to those who organise 0804 outings. Thanks to TBB for making JC life more interesting. Thanks to my great PW group. Erm...Thanks to every1 la...
Hmm...new year resolution...dun have a habit of making 1 but here's one resolution for every1:
