.:. Half way mark .:.

Yup 1 week has come and gone in a blink of an eye. From waiting for the start our 1st paper, Math paper 1, till our mid-point now. What can I say, A-Levels is...erm...A-Levels. Oh well, lets jus get on with my assessment of my "progress" so far.

Maths paper 1: Overall felt that the paper was ok. Yes I know que 4 was a killer. I din even know how to start for that que, so tats 8 marks flap flap. Then a few careless marks here and there...

GP paper 1: Apparently I found out that I did a funky que onli after I stepped out of the hall. Was looking through the ques, science and tech was integrated with ethics, so no no for me. I cant argue to save my life. So there goes my niche topic. Plan B in action. Starts to cross out those that I have totally no clue on what to do, then list the points that I can write. So in the end, I turned to que 3 (if i remember the que number correctly), the one on types of writing. I tried a...erm new approach for me, point by point comparison. Newspaper VS Blogs. Emails VS Mails. Then elaborate on novels and religious texts. So...oh well.

GP paper 2: Once again poor time management. Could not finish the AQ. Tried my best for the rest of the ques. Who ask me to be chinese-oriented. Why can't we use chinese as a substitute for GP...

Chem paper 3: Went relatively well, other than the fact that I made lots of careless mistakes. Saw the 1st que is 8 mark protein, so i decided almost immediately not to do that que. The rest of the ques were manageable for me, but like I said, I made alot of careless mistakes. Hope it wun rob me off my A, if i can get 1.

Maths paper 2: Stats was quite good if i dare say. Pure maths was...erm...I couldn't do the 5 mark differential equation, but I did write something, so hoping to get at least 1 method mark? Then some parts here there. If my calculations serves me right, worst case scenario is minus 23 marks, but that is if those ques that I am confident I am correct I will get correct. Overall for the maths paper (Yay 1st H2 paper we finished!!!), the ques were rather "funky"(quoted from Ryan). Those that tried the TYS would know. Kinda makes me feel that the time spent doing the TYS was wasted...oh well. I think whether I can get A/B for maths will depend on moderation then.

In conclusion: As p1 it true and Pk is true => P(K+1) is true, haha I jus had to say that. After the 1st week, I think A-Levels was so-so, could have been better, could have been worst. But I am starting to get worried if I can get the "A"s and "B"s...Now every night i would spend a considerable amount of time tossing and turning about in bed. Then sometimes I would start to think, next year when we come back to take our results, how well will I do, or will 0804 do as a class? How many of us will be able to have our names called up and then walk up the stage...

Ok nvm dun wan make those who read this b4 papers next week emo.

We jus have 6 more papers to go!!! Woopie!!!From now, its 1 week and 2 days till our unofficial holidays!!! But till then, lets all continue our chiong for A-Levels!!!
