.:. 5 more days... .:.
Econs today was bad...nothing more to be said bout it.
Inspirational post:
Children cry and forget.
Teenagers cry then forget.
Adults cry and forgot that they had cried.
How true is this? I came across this while watching TV today. Every baby's announcement to the world is their cry once they are out of the womb. Children cry at the very little things, falling down, not getting what they want or being just hungry. Teenagers, supposedly to be of higher emotional control, cry only in times of immense stress, sadness or for love. Adults, those perceived to have the most mature of thinking, seldom cry...and when they do, they pretend it never happened.
Crying is a form of expression of our feelings, grief or happiness. Its one of the first form of physical expression we learn from birth. So why is it that as we gradually grow up, we start to lose this form of expression. The only reason why parents know how to fufil the needs of the baby is through his/her cries. Without it, parents would not know what or when to do. So why is it that the more we experience, the less effective is our tears, or quantity in certain cases.
Is it because as our thinking matures, we start to feel that crying is an embarassment,.that its a show of one's weakness to the public. So is that why we no longer dare to cry? Or is just because as we grow up, we experience more of society, we get to know more about its ugly side...so much so that we do not dare to cry out loud. That we must hide in our own rooms, to cry alone in the dark. Or is it because crying has become less of an effective tool to express the inner emotions that we feel, that has led to the more evolved form of the expression, such as self-mutilation? The colourless tears that we have shed since young is not as impactful as the dark reddish droplets that are more painful to come by.
Can't we just cry in times of our sadness, and just let it be known.
