Lets start from fri. Fri was career seminar day. Basically the sch organised numerous lects from different occupations to come to sch and tell us more on scholarships/career. The 1st talk in the morning was by Eu Yan Sang. I actually found the talk quite pleasant. Hey they gave out essence of chiken, how bad can that be? The presenter talked bout how they used innovation in their company. Then applied to how we use innovation in our sch. Then some weird guy said the best innovation was the "zero flush system"...dosen't show much bout tat guy. Then they showed us how they had an interactive game on the website to educate ppl on their product. The presenter asked who would like to try, but i think michelle already raised her hand b4 tat. Lolz.
For the 2nd talk, i went for the MOE 1. I found it rather enriching. Teaching seems to be a viable choice. After JC, go for intermship programme, then go army. Come out take teaching award, nbout 4 years later be teacher :). Nt bad considering currently i hv no ambition to go anywhere yet. Actually, i kind of like the idea of friend-friend relationship rather than teacher-student relationship. I mean dun u all lik it when u hv a very friendly teacher in class? Moreover, which job will u get to have so much fun? U can go work, chit chat with students, teach, go play with them, celebrate Bdays, relieve sch days...so cool. Pay wise, i rather find a job tat i enjoy rather than a desk job where i will be dam sian. But who say teachers dun earn much? Anyway i dun really need a high pay to survive. Jus enuff to spend, on necessities, support my family if i hv 1 in future and enuff to keep my hobby my afloat(which is like $30 per month nia...). So dun be surprise if next time yr children come home n say they love Mr Ho in sch :)

After talk went to hougang for BADMINTON!!! Wa i cant tell u how much i've been waiting for it. But actually found tat my skills deproved kinda alot, although my basics are still with me. Yay finally something which I m better at than Ryan...lolz. Best of all, I got to play with Yeow Kheng!!! Dam shiok ah!!! We played 1 on 1, 15 pts. I was working my a** off the court. Worthy opponent, but i onli won him cos he made mistakes. Dam must improve more!!! Then we were playing, Sushan and Wendy was like y they must hit so hard...like fight like tat. I can only say tats how it is in tournaments, old habits die hard. But very funny, Zu Yao kept challenging XY cos he dun believe he will lose. Yay tml hving badminton with mr quek.
Sat i went back to YJC for Celebrating Values Day!!! Been like 1 year since i went back. So nostalgic. This year they were again selling rocher roses :) But they upgraded this year, they also sold it in bouquets, which looked totally awesome. Some guy ordered 21 roses in a bouquet, and it looked really ns. A very ns gift to give a GF if u ask me. But main thing was to c n talk to friends. Lolz Mdm Tay was like so happy to c me. Let jus say during my days in YJC we were on very good terms, very very close relationship...to the point where i almost became her godson :). Since there were new ppl in class, she introduced us, in a funny way.
Mdm Tay: Come guys let me introduce u all.
Mdm Tay: (pointing to guy 1) This is the self-proclaimed hunk.
Guy1: smiles
Mdm Tay: (pointing to guy 2) This guy is always late.
Guy2: smiles
Mdm Tay: (pulls me beside her) This is my godson, the cute Dalvin.
Dalvin: (stuns...) but later act cute...

Then after cvd, me, Lizah, and Zhan Peng went for dinner at North Point. We ate n chat. Then went on mrt. They took to AMK while me to Bishan. Then some very funny happened. They dropped off AMK. Said bye. I took out phone and prepared to listen to music, but suddenlly it rang. Zhan Peng was calling me. I tot to myself, did he forget anything??? I looked around, nothing leh. Then i picked up the phone.
Zhan Peng: Yoz Dal u rushing to go home?
Me: Nope y?
Zhan Peng: Oh ok, wana hang out somemore at bishan? We are already back on the carriage.
Me: Double stuns...
Haha so we got off at bishan. And they were jus 1 carriage away. At the mrt station when we got off, we jus looked at each other and laughed. Then we went to Coffee Bean to grab coffee and chat from 7.15 to 10.15. Pro sia. We talked lots, sch life, etc. But then Lizah was like very worried bout her block test which is after march hols. But she also has SYF, so she dun rly hv time to study and so is stressed out. SO me and Zhan Peng were there counselling her, advising her. But in the process I was in deep thought bout myself.
We talked bout how having ambition helps. But for me, I dun really have an ambition. Zhan Peng wans to go NUS, Lizah wans Mass Comm, me dun noe. Zhen Peng was like u need ambition, but for ppl like Dalvin dun need, cos he can discipline himself to study. Which made me reflect on my motivation to study...nothing came out. I really dun noe what I've been studying for??? I have no future job in mind...and I've always been pitting myself against my older brother scores...so ya. Is this what ppl call grade-chase?
We also talked bout grades. And this really set me thinking...cos of my block test results. My block tests results is very bad...ya. So I was like, did I really put my heart into studying? Was i giving it my all? Conclusion, no. Which is why I am kinda disappointed in myself. I really need to buck up if I wan to beat my Brother's scores...which is like 3-4 "A"s and the rest "B"s. So I am going to stop playing computer games, xbox, and psp until after A-levels and jus concentrate for exams and tests. I really need to buck up.
Then Lizah was commenting on how our PAE was alot better. She was facing lots of internal conflicts and PW disputes. And this made me feel how lucky I am to be in 0804. It is 1 of the most united class I've ever been in. We are friendly to each other(almost every1), talk bout lots, laughs lots and go out lots. I am really enjoying my days in NYJC. 0804 roks! I am jus glad to have these ppl around me.

Ns to c how much I can think bout when talking ppl. I like to talk in this kind of setting. Relax, coffee, lie down and talk. I feel like i can share anything with ppl i really trust in this kind of setting. Especially in the night, the atmosphere is jus good.
